Calculation method
The method used to quantify the value of ALFASSA's Share Capital is composed of various phases. The first phase is the census of intangible assets that are shareable and capable of generating value within a given ecosystem. Once these have been censused Participated Intangible Assets, we apply the criteria of the IAS 38 Standard to quantify the economic value of our Social Capital.
This standard involves several steps. First, it is necessary to identify the intangible asset, which must be non-monetary, without physical substance, intended for long-term use. Second, it is necessary to determine whether the asset meets the recognition criteria, including the identification of future benefits and the ability to measure value reliably. Once recognized, the asset will be measured at cost and the value of the revenues generated. Of the two values, the one calculated with the cost approach and the one calculated with the revenue approach, the lower will be taken conservatively.
It should be noted that the value of ALFASSA's Social Capital has been calculated by quantifying only the Intellectual Capital, understood as the set of relationships, knowledge, tools and applications of the enabling operators adhering to the circuit. The Natural Capital and the Social Conventions are not included in the process of quantifying the economic value of ALFASSA, which at the moment are not visible to the community but only to those who participate within the circuit. Furthermore, we have not quantified the Human Capital, understood as the skills and competences of the set of men and women who are at the head of the various organizations that have used ALFASSA. What we are going to quantify as Human Capital, which is a component of the Intellectual Capital in addition to the Relational Capital and Organizational Capital, are the set of integrated knowledge that can be shared in the form of programs, projects and best practices.
Third sector entities with capital
The Share Capital of Alfassa can be transferred to the enabling entities, whether they are companies (profit and cooperatives) or Third Sector Entities. With the transfer of the Share Capital of ALFASSA to the Third Sector Entities we are establishing their endowment fund, which is also mandatory for the purposes of constitution and legal recognition. Within their SMART CONTRACT you will find the economic value transferred to each Entity. The economic value of the Share Capital transferred is calculated based on the statutory objectives that the ENTITY must achieve. In fact, before each transfer, the programmatic lines and purposes are defined with the Enabling Operator.
