VISION vs. PREDICTION
A new model for a new society
The term VISION indicates the projection of a future scenario using the current development model, the term PREDICTION is the act of announcing in advance the occurrence of future events following one path rather than another, that is, the ability to reverse the macroeconomic paradigm by tying economic development to environmental sustainability and social well-being.
VISION
The constant and progressive depopulation and abandonment of rural areas has led to the loss of that characteristic of our countryside that were real eco-villages on a human and environmental scale. We are talking about intentional communities that lived according to eco-sustainable models and that supported their economy, guaranteeing their settlement and development over time.
The abandonment of pastures and rural and agri-food activities has not only led to the loss of autonomy in a strategic sector such as the agri-food sector, but over time, it has become one of the most incisive factors in relation to our biodiversity, as it is responsible for the loss of meadows due to the intensive use of vast areas, and the abandonment of marginal areas, which have become woods.
Over time, ruthless competition based only on price has not only penalized the quality of the product, putting the health of the consumer at risk, but has also pushed companies to produce with increasingly polluting processes and with a great waste of natural resources. Our processing companies have therefore redefined their supply strategies, importing products of very poor quality and genetically modified GMOs.
The new European regulations which on the one hand destroy the current production system through the increase in the prices of raw materials such as fuels and chemical fertilizers, to gradually replace it with new crops which apply genetic engineering techniques that can alter the DNA of plants through the "genome editing”, that is, genome editing without inserting external genetic elements, unlike GMOs themselves.
We have therefore gone from the disgrace of GMO seeds that do not regenerate so that we are forced to buy them every year from the usual monopolistic multinationals, to unnatural products that can influence our very human nature, the potential effects of which have been deregulated and in some cases, covered by military secrecy.
The truth is that we are handing over to multinationals governed by a completely out of control neoliberal oligarchy that takes to dictating its own rules ignoring constitutional law, one of the most strategic and vital sectors for our existence.
Will it ever be possible, given the starting conditions, to find a winning synthesis strategy to change this macroeconomic paradigm in the rural, agri-food and livestock sectors? We believe YES.
PREDICTION
To reverse the macroeconomic paradigm, we must understand that this mania for controlling and conquering through deception and force is a characteristic of modern society that has acquired over time a strong desire for money. In the New Testament, it is expressly referred to as “the love of money is the root of all evil.”
The importance of not idolizing money and therefore not putting wealth above spiritual and moral values, which is exactly what is happening, cannot be considered a strategy but a new humanistic and Renaissance project, a project capable of rebalancing the biological relationship between competition and cooperation, so as to put man and the environment back at the center. We must shift the focus from financial gains to the fundamental values that really matter, such as happiness, solidarity, environmental sustainability and collective well-being.
Once the path has been identified, the tools are needed, we must in fact take note that the only thing that undermines the process of change is the inability to regain control of information, we are in fact constantly informed through the rhetoric of the mainstream that responds to the interests of the financial oligarchies, which, having interests clearly opposed to ours, invest in destroying our cultural identities and our critical thinking.
What we must understand today is that without the control of information there will never be change, we will always be the defenseless victims of a coercive system that will continue to act against itself until the demolition of our constitutional rights. In this new paradigm, true wealth lies in the quality of human relationships, in respect for nature and in the construction of a society based on authentic values and solidarity. Only by embracing this new perspective can we hope to create a more equitable, sustainable and common good-oriented economy.
Unfortunately, we cannot deny the evidence, the current development model is no longer sustainable, capitalism is now the master of the world, separated from all ethics and pure animal will to power and enrichment, has become a threat to basic human goods and rights, such as the environment, health, dignity, integrity and life.
To the most responsible people, the task of mobilizing to build a new multipolar, peaceful and cooperative society based on a new model of production, consumption and coexistence that is completely eco-sustainable. A society where man's fighting instinct is used exclusively to eliminate the cause of his own suffering and many miseries, to overcome his own weaknesses and to triumph over his own limits.
